The boys escape together and soon form a bond as they comfort each other in this desolate and broken world. The farther they travel, the more their affection grows, as do the forces pulling them apart. But their greatest threats are the secrets they keep. Zach hides details of his uncles death, and Aiden conceals the vials sinister origins. In order to survive, they'll have to confront the truths that could tear their love apart.

Normalizing LGBTQ lives in a genre most often written in an anti-LGBTQ fashion.

I love the depth of the characters. I have been a great fan of end of the world, ordeal type literature. What was inherent in almost all of them was a right wing more or less bigoted attitude permeating the story. This is refreshing. It is a great book even without the characters being gay. The fact that they are puts it way over the top for me. Great listen too. The narration was truly wonderful.

Very very enjoyable end of the world story

I enjoyed this very much. It pulled me in from the start. My one issue was they dragged the whole Connor thing out a bit too long. Otherwise, it was great!

That ending was amazing same with the narrator bravo this left me wanting more and more for every chapter.

Post Apocalyptic Love Story

If you are looking for a post apocalyptic, adventurous, queer, coming-of-age then this book is for you! The story was so well thought out and written beautifully. The audible performance was just as incredible as the story itself.

Loved it!

This very much gave the same vibes as All That's Left in the World, but the story still felt original. I loved the two main characters and the narrator did an excellent job. Highly recommend!
