The characters are relatable but the story lags a bit and takes some slow turns. SPOILERS AHEAD. I wish there wasn’t such a gap between the main characters falling in love and becoming boyfriends, separated and then back together in the last few pages. Needed to have more of them together

Good story

The Secret World of Alex Mac meets LQBTQ, what could go wrong? This audiobook didn’t really keep me engaged. The narrator has a beautiful voice but the story itself is a bit flat . A lot happens in a short amount of time but the stakes don’t feel elevated. Overall I guess it’s fine for a one time listen.

Overall just ok, it never got to a point beyond the basics. it left me wanting more, and not in a good way. It lacked in the emotion for the love story and drama for the action. Just "ok".
