I saw that quote about fairy tales embroidered on a decorative pillow at a home decorating store. Honestly, it pissed me off. Retail propaganda aimed to promote sales when any single girl in the city could tell them they'd sell more if they'd offer Keep Your Pants On, Asshole instead.

But it's fine. I don't have room for decorative pillows anyway.

And I don't have time for distractions.

Which is why I'm ignoring the distraction staring at me right now. The one who looks like he belongs on a billboard campaign. The one with the full lips and the cocky smile. The one refusing to look away even when I give him my best "no way" scowl.

The one headed in my direction. Right now.

This Dynamic Duo Does It Again!!

What a tease!!!!

This audiobook was soooo good but too short! I need more of this story and these characters. Lauren was fun, uninhibited and refreshingly normal! Max was sexy, playful and completely swoon worthy! I loved that these two have a whirlwind relationship from day 1. This novella is proof that Jana Aston is a phenomenal writer because I normally don't like standalone novella's, they are always insta-love and I find it to be so hard to connect with the love story when it has no history but I loved this novella and this couple! I was rooting for the love story from chapter 1 because this author knows how to sell insta-love!

I would have bought this audiobook based on the narration alone! Erin Mallon is my favorite narrator. She is great at all things audio but she does playful and sexy so well that I get lost in the story each time I listen to her narrate this type of story! And I know I've said it a million times but man her male voice gets me every time!!!

I really really like Erin Mallon as a narrator.

Because of Erin I've been binging on other authors I hadn't read and found some interesting and sexy books I don't normally read or listen to. Tread carefully as some of Jana Aston's books are soooooo sexy. too hot to handle but I listened to Times Square 3 times as it was so cute but a little short. Loved the Max character.

short sweet and sexy!

Really, could have used a little bit of drama and lengthened out the book a bit more and would have still been great! but it was a light hearted read that was steamy and sweet and still made me laugh at times. I love Jana Aston and Erin Mallon so either of them always makes a automatic winner in my book!

What a lovely little nugget of audio. That’s right, I said nugget. If you’re a fan of Jana Aston and having Erin Mallon narrate, you’ll love this. I certainly did.

Yes, there was a meet cute and small world antics, but it was sweet and lovely and had all the feels.
