But it's fine. I don't have room for decorative pillows anyway. And I don't have time for distractions. Which is why I'm ignoring the distraction staring at me right now.

Time for a re-listen
Gah! I loved this book! It was exactly what I needed to lift my spirits. Hilarious, witty inner monologues are like crack to me, and this book has them in spades! My only complaint is that I finished it too soon. LOL. Time for a re-read/re-listen already.

One of my top 3 Jana Aston books!
This was so funny and sweet. If you need a totally unrealistic story and a really good laugh, this is perfect. I needed some lighthearted romance after some of the mafia romances I’ve been reading lately and this fit perfectly- with very little drama or angst but a great story and some spice. Erin Mallon is an amazing narrator for both the male and female voices- I could listen to her narrate anything. But having a great narrator can make or break a story and this story is just that much better because of her. Great writing by Jana! Can’t wait to read/listen to the rest of her books on my list

OMG Loved this book!!!
So funny and great sexy times! The humor kept me laughing throughout the whole book - and that’s saying something for me! The story progressed at a good pace and I did not feel like to book was too long or too rushed.
I loved this book and I cannot recommend it enough! I quickly went to find more by this author as she is new to me! And, of course, Erin Mallon was her amazing self with the narration!

Seriously...if you are having a blah day or just want to smile and laugh, listen to anything from Jana Aston. Loved this book so much. Gary of course was the best. Crazy pets always make books better. Sweet, Steamy perfection. Highly recommend.

ADORABLE 💙💜
This story is so cute and funny. I really fell for the story. From Audrey tand Warren to Duke and Gary, the characters were bright and vivid. Also, the narrator was perfect for this book.

A fun romantic comedy!
Jana writes such lovable characters. Audrey and Warren’s story was laugh out loud funny, sweet and romantic. All the animals were so adorable and I swear they were all smarter than the humans in this story. LOL!
Erin Mallon’s narration was exceptional! She definitely nailed all the comedic moments.

So Funny
I laughed out loud several times while listening to this story. The heroine is hilarious. The story was sweet and if you know anything about this author you will understand how this story came to be.

Jana Aston is amazing!!!
This book proves yet again how fabulous of an author Jana Aston is! She has such a unique ability to bring a quirky, a little crazy, awkward girl to life! I absolutely love her characters and their crazy antics! Audrey was no different! And she was exactly what stuffy governor Warren needed! A absolute must read/listen! Of course this book is even better with Erin Mallon’s fantastic narration! I could have finished this book in one sitting, but I didn’t want it to end. I found myself stopping just to draw out the utter fabulousness!!!

So much fun!
So cute! I really connect with Jana Aston's sense of humor. And she's an expert at smart, clever, albeit somewhat self-deprecating women who fall in love with taciturn, slightly surly men. This was a lot of fun and I'll probably listen to it again very soon!
And, as always, Jana Aston and Erin Mallon are the perfect match.
