This is a listen-in-one-sitting short tale about a woman named Capsel who travels through time - not by breaking the speed of light - but by entering a stasis pod at regular intervals.

Each entry is a one-way journey, and each time she emerges she finds that the world is in a very different place.

We don’t know why she is doing this at first, but Capsel’s true purpose is eventually revealed, and it is quite grand indeed.

Engaging short story by Jonathan Mass about the possibilities of humanity’s future. The storyline kept my interest and I appreciated Kathleen Strecker’s narration, which provided distinct character voices without being distracting. Her reading style is pleasant, compelling, and in sync with the tone of the book. It was enjoyable to listen to and I would recommend both the author and the narrator.

Good story. Loved the narration!

The concept of traveling through time to be able to see progress, or the lack of, is interesting at it's best. I loved how this was done.
I listened to the audiobook version of this book and Kathleen Strecker did a fantastic job of telling the story (not just reading it).
I enjoyed it

Short but good!

I enjoyed this short story. Worth the price. I will be looking for other books by Jonathan Maas. Narration was great. I have been trying more short stories after listening to The Dispatcher by John Scalzi, and The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells. Don't miss these just because they are not longer.
