Publisher's summary

Thunder o Dragon. My rage shakes the portals of fate!

From flying to war to becoming a living playground for 30 children, a dragon called Dragon is growing in all sorts of unexpected ways these days. Never mind. With his signature wit and inimitable style, and the expedient of occasionally throwing his beautiful black Princess, Dragon Rider and best friend straight at his troubles, this Dragon is prepared to seize his war-torn world by the scruff of the neck and shake it into shape. It's not as if the world has a choice in the matter.

The third hilarious, climactic volume in Dragon Fires Rising sees an unlikely Dragon-Rider team take on the full might of the invading Skartunese army.

Rushed but still enjoyable

Narrator: great tone, good differentiations
Language: none
Violence: PG-13
Sexual content: allusion to intimacy both dragon and human. Nothing super descriptive
Parents: 16+
Story: as with the previous books, the relationship between dragon and the princess is humorous and full of wit. There are moments of seriousness that broach social topics of today as in the previous books—specifically that of racism and the treatment of those that look different from the general populace. The resolution feels rushed but overall this was an enjoyable series as a whole.

Really fun series

I just finished this one and the whole three book series is quite a fun ride. Thunder is my favorite dragon character out of all the dragons in books and movies I've come across.

Great Finish, if A Little Hasty

Like the two that came before it, Thunder O Dragon is witty, emotional, full of excellent world building and real life relationships, and more shenanigans from the Princess and her Dragon. My only issue with it is the end to the big climax is weirdly hasty and no one explains how Dragon knows to call someone's bluff (leading to the immediate resolution of a plotline). Other than that, phenomenal story.

great read!ng!

no! entire series. however, as in almost every magical book, almost everyone writes....the characters seem to forget the tricks and magic they learned in previous books. Marc did bring these learnings together at the end and I applaud, THE END. not an ending with a cliff hanger!🥰🤗😘😁👍

Intense to the end!

I'm pretty good at listening to books and working, but I had a hard time with these books because of the humor, action, adventure, and all-out fun! I even listened to the first two before going to this one. I think the puns, humor, and just the way the book was written kept me on my seat. A lot of books are written with a person as the main character. Marc did an excellent job in writing the main character as a dragon. Well done marc! and also Kyle Westmaas!
