Everything you need in a book

I listened to the Lochland Fueds first so I knew quite a bit going into reading this but it didn't matter. It pulled me in so fast that even knowing which characters made it to the next series I forgot and got so worried about them and invested. The Lochland Fueds is my new favorite book series, but this is a close second. I loved all the twists and turns. I laughed so many timed and cried. I will say this isn't a book to listen to at work. I listened while taking a trip and the amount of people who gave me weird looks as I snorted or laughed so loud was equally funny. I absolutely loved this book and recommended it to other people right away.

Absolutely engaging story

I am SO glad this series was available as one Audible download. There is so much action and emotion that to switch to the next in the series would have been aggravating.

Charlie and Logan are so full of strength and fire. They both want what is best for their countries, and will sacrifice whatever they must to ensure there is peace. They are the epitome of love.

The story is fantastic journey of discovery, both of who to trust, who is evil, and who can find the love they so desperately want and need in an unstable world.

The performance was excellent.

I definitely recommend this for anyone who loves fantasy.

Great! But chapters w 2nd narrator wrongly at end!

This was a WONDERFUL, epic story, that was clean enough for a teenager. I will be listening to many other titles by these authors!
HOWEVER, imagine my surprise when after the story ended, there were suddenly chapters THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MIXED IN! These were all chapters read by a man, from the hero's perspective. It would have been lovely to have heard them where the authors had intended. I have looked everywhere in "settings, "player settings," and "title details" and can't find a reason this occurred on my end. I will be contacting Audible.

Worth the read

Couldn't put it down. It was romantic, funny and gripping. Taking me on a roller coaster of emotions.

Cute romance! The accents fit some people is a little funny. But I liked this prequel series! Enjoyed it thoroughly.

The love they all had for each other no matter what tried to pull them apart.

it's a great story that makes you wish you were there in that time and in that place!

Love the story!

The story is wonderful and well written and the female narrator is good with male and female voices. I always knew ho was talking even when names weren't mentioned and the accents were great. But.. when it got to the last book or story of the POV of Logan they should have left it to the female narrator because the poor guy that tried so hard to do Logan accent was not good. He had a good voice and if not for the accent, I could have listened to him. I listened to a couple of chapters and just could not finish. Since it was a recap, I knew what had happened so IDNF.

amazing emotional performance

I love the voice actors in this story, they really bring out the emotions in their characters. would've loved to hear finn and Iylas point of views... (sorry for butchering their names I just don't know the spelling)

❤️❤️❤️ with the narrator at the female it was hard to picture the female character as a bigger princess like I’m sure she’s beautiful, but like just big boned or taller, you know even portioned like the man but when you heard Laughlin side at the Laughlin man side at the end his voice, it was easy to see her like that because you and him because it was hard to picture him with that sweet voice of the narrator, which done me wrong. I loved the narrators voice. It was perfect, but they they had me they just had me through the whole book great
