Its like the book version of a cozy game

about as good as the first one little more intrigue and mystery and darn close to the anime minus all the name changes or I guess I should say the anime is very close to this

Just as good as the first!

This one was as good as the last one. The reader did make a slip up with a couple lines where it was supposed to be Ivy speaking, but only 2 lines. But she did good on the rest!

Almost cried

way different from the anime but some how they're both good in different ways.

slimes are the best

The creation of slimes as a cute creature was a great idea. It is done well in many circumstances.

Amazing

I’ve read this novel several times and I’m always amazed with it. There were some emotions the VA needs to work on but I think she approved compared to the first volume.

10/10 would recommend

So I watched the anime first and loved it and wanted more. Did a little research and someone said to just start from the beginning of the light novel series so that is what I did and thank god. It is a little slow to start but so was the anime. It is completely different from the anime but just as good!

The voice actress is phenomenal and really makes the story come alive. She gives personality to each individual character and the slimes/adondera voices really shine. I will happily listen to other series she has recorded.

10/10 would recommend to anyone who enjoys the cozy fantasy adventure genre.

Human trafficking

The whole plot of this book is focused on human trafficking. There's a kidnapping ring and that's presented as bad. There's also slavery and that's presented as good. It seems that the major difference is if the person being trafficked is being sold by a reputable dealer or not and the difference between a reputable dealer and a non reputable dealer is. . . wait is there a difference?
