The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash

In Ivy's world, stars are everything. She's a Tamer, born to subdue monsters and animals, but she was also born starless! With her life in danger, Ivy flees into the forest where she befriends a weak little slime named Sora--the one creature she can tame. Together, the unlikely pair set off on a journey, salvaging rubbish to survive. Along the way they'll win hearts, evade danger, and discover there's more to starless Ivy than meets the eye!

Nine-year-old Ivy and her tame slime Sora have joined a group of lively adventurers! But when they arrive at the town of Otolwa, they find it overrun by dastardly kidnappers. To aid her new friends, save the town, and vanquish the bad guys, Ivy will have to pose as bait! Can she, Sora, and their new friends wiggle their way to victory?

When Ivy and Sora encounter a mortally wounded man, Sora uses its unique powers to heal him...and splits in two?! As Ivy and Druid bond over their unhappy pasts, Ivy learns that her new friend was also abandoned by his family thanks to his "useless" skill. But as Ivy knows, there's often more to people (and slimes) than meets the eye. Can Ivy and Sora help their new companion find the strength to forge ahead?

Ivy, Sora, and Druid are ready to set off! But before they can depart, the group gets roped into helping a village with their failing crops. Then, there's an uptick in monster rampages to solve! Between rescuing the village, building her savings, finding the perfect equipment for her travels, and cleaning up Druid's filthy house, it seems like Ivy's preparations for her journey will never end...

As she continues to travel, Ivy grows closer to Druid. Their days are filled with laughter, silly little arguments, and even a more feminine version of Ivy! Yet trouble looms on the horizon when Ivy and her crew happen upon a village facing an abnormally harsh winter. With new people to meet, fire to sit by, and hungry bellies to fill, it looks like Ivy's work is cut out for them. Good thing they've got lots of friends to help keep warm!

Ivy discovers a black slime in her bag, and immediately, wonders how to care for it, nevertheless how to carry it. Thankfully, she can send faxes to her friends to get the fantasy 411 on the care and keeping of a brand-new friend! And as the bitter, cold winter turns to a warm, welcoming spring, Ivy sets their eyes on new horizons and new places. Now, where will their adventures take them next?

Winter has melted away, making way for the warm spring to arrive! Full of hope and anticipation, Druid and Ivy travel to the next village over to experience an exhilarating spring festival. This village is like nothing Ivy has ever seen before--even the gate protecting it is different! Ivy can't wait to find out what this vibrant and colorful place has in store for her and her friends.

Druid seems on edge these days. First, he senses a disturbance in the forest, but Ivy doesn't feel anything amiss. Then, they meet Zephyr, a party of adventurers. Sora insists they're safe, but Druid has a bad feeling about Zinal.

The people of Hataka Village are on edge. Strange things are happening in the forest, and it's making even the friendliest of creatures act out in surprising—and dangerous—ways! Determined to get to the bottom of things, Ivy and her friends head into the forest to investigate. Encountering the tragedy within, they determine a summoning circle is putting a spell on humans and animals alike. While Sol and Sora do their best to break the spells, Ivy searches for the summoning circle and the truth about what happened at Hataka Village.

With the crisis in Hataka Village behind them, Ivy and her friends set out for new adventures. Along the way, they creep through the caves where the forest monsters dwell, only to find the monsters who attacked her before are now friendly! Not only that, she's entrusted with a forest monster baby. Bewildered at this turn of events, Ivy arrives in an unusual village full of tension between the church and the villagers.

Determined to save Marya from the clutches of the church, Ivy and her party flee from the village with her. Along the way, they have a joyful reunion with Ciel, who has brought the members of Zephyr to join them! With these strong adventurers by their side, they take advantage of their time out in the wild to go on a loot-collecting journey in caves along the way. But when they decide to settle down in one of the caves, they're found yet again! Will Ivy and her friends ever be able to leave the church in the dust...or are they doomed to run forever?

After parting ways with Marya, Ivy and her friends continue their journey with high hopes. But before long, the travelers find themselves lost in an incomprehensible that's not even on the map, no matter how hard they look! Feeling that something isn't right, Ivy and her friends find thier way back on the road, only to discover the next village is in the middle of a murder mystery! Wanting to keep out of the mess, Ivy heads to the dump to collect trash to prepare to move on only to be lured by serpents deep into the forest.
