This was a different book from what Lisa Scottoline usually writes but the story was captivating and had many twists and turns.

The story was engaging and I always enjoy Scottoline's writing. There is usually an unexpected twist.

Interesting story

This was different from Lisa's other books, but it was very attention holding for me. Was Julia's husband killed in a random mugging or something more? Was the mugger after Julia's husband or her? I liked this book. It kept me listening.

Good story but weird

Weird for Lisa Scottoline, but good. I’m not a fan of supernatural….Loved the family feel??? Dunno….

Not Scottoline’s Best

I found the story far fetched and unrealistic.
I felt the characters had little depth, and dialog trivial at times, especially Courtney. I did not enjoy this book as I did all the other Lisa Scottoline’s historical fiction story lines.

Great as always

Loved the book. As always, it reads so fast. Definitely have to read it again.

Crazy fun thriller

Sometimes I thought to myself - is this a thriller or is it fantasy!? This would make a great movie w much action, CG AI scenes, crime (and associated law suits), astrology and ESP, love stories and family dynamics. This book is easy to connect with and keeps moving at a good pace. I would consider this 4.75/5.
