Fast paced, creative, gripping story

This book was recommended to me, which I appreciate since I would normally pass up a book with a supernatural element. I binged listened to it on a long plane ride, and couldn’t put it down when I got home. Compelling twisty story, perfect narration and definitely wins the “best ghost” award! I’ll look for other books by this author.

I haven’t cried over the ending of a book in a long time. But here I am, bawling. I highly recommend, and I am going to search for other books by Greg Dunnett.

Wow, just wow.

First time reading this author. Outstanding. Fantasy premise but I completely believed it. Loved the sister-brother connection. Story was gripping.

This book had it all. Happiness, sadness, fear, power, good, and bad. I loved this book.

All I can say is Wow! So good. About halfway they tell you who the killer was and I was like Seriously. But otherwise really good.

Exciting paranormal story

Loved the premise of the story and I listened to it every chance I got. My only criticism is that it went on too long. Spoiler alert: ghost should have left as soon as her mission was done.✅

Lovely story

What a nice listen! A well balanced story between the super natural and crime fighting!! I could not have imagined it, but it worked. Very entertaining.

Drew me in

Very well written. The unconscionable crimes are explained, but in such a way that the focus stays where the heart is, which is with the sibling relationship that supersedes everything else. This is a ghost story based on human experiences, not relying on horror or magic. The twists were compelling. A couple of times, I prepared myself to be frustrated, but then I wasn’t at all. Each initiative or line of investigation was handled quickly and kept the story moving. I was curious and invested in the characters and how they interacted. I loved the brother and sister. This was a good ghost story mystery that handled a difficult scenario well.

Sweet and sad.

Do you believe in ghosts or the hereafter? You will after listening to this charming story. Sibling love so strong. Parents should always believe their children as they see and believe what adults pretend is not there.
