Finally! An Unpredictable Thriller!

I Know You Know has an advantage over other book formats in this instance because it involves a podcast. How better to incorporate a podcast into a book better than in an audiobook? This format lends itself beautifully here. Gilly Macmillan has not disappointed me yet and more than anything, I'm tired of being disappointed by so called thrillers that I either figure out in advance or can't seem to adequately suspend disbelief in order that I might enjoy it to the end. This one surprised me-yes! Yes it contains the requisite plot twist! Imogen Church's melliflulous diction coupled with a subtle unfolding was just the intellectual treat I've been craving. Loved this so much. If there was any reason that I didn't give it solid 5 stars was the Story had a lot of characters who did not seem relevant in the final analysis to the point where (I thought) it muddled the ending somewhat. This could also admittedly be the result of my intermittant fadings out and not having the privilege of long periods of listens. Searching for a thriller that doesn't involve unneccessary graphics and and terrible mind permeating images? A story that gently unfolds, subtly and deliberately but isn't painfully long and drawn out? You won't be disappointed.It was satisfying on so many levels.

Simply marvelous!

As a story, it is the sad one, once you think of people really been in similar situations like Jess and Sid, and corrupt police, and all. But THE TWIST!!!! Just outstanding!

Very interesting

I love Gilly Macmillan books! This one starts a little slow, but it picks up. Definitely worth the listen

Not a huge fan

The reading was good, just not the wow I was expecting. I had to listen to the last three chapters twice to see where the story was headed.

This is a very entertaining and well written story.
The thing I most love about Gilly MacMillan is just how darn clever her books can be.
This book, much like “To Tell You The Truth” is character driven, strong, and sharp.
THAT ENDING will stay with me forever.
One more reason to admire and respect her work.
She knows how to pull a complete grenade dropping ending without the usual cheap tricks.
She’s such a talented author, what it must be like to just sit down at your computer or typewriter and turn something like this out!
I couldn’t put this one down and won’t soon forget it.
Beautifully done, a strong character driven mystery that no one could possibly figure out.
Thank you GM for years of quality entertainment and mind blowing reading.
The narration is exquisite, you can’t go wrong with a cast like this.

She sets you up love a character and hate another then turns everything upside down.

I love this author, and I love Imogen Church narrating so I knew it would be great, but the story kept me hooked! Buy it!

Good listen!

This was a good story. It was different because there is a podcast you listen to that a character does. And the ending really surprised me.

Didn’t Make Sense!

The plot seemed forced and several interesting aspects weren’t developed. I could not understand the motivation of several characters including the purported Murderer, who is already dead.
