Kyle Wadsworth arrives at Harvard eager to start his new life as a college student away from the cold and distant great-aunt who has raised him. But he walks into a building that only magical people can see, confusing both himself and the administrators of Veritas, the secret magical university hidden inside Harvard. There he first sees a beautiful girl who seems magical to him in every way. Soon Jess Torralva is tutoring Kyle in the ways of magic, sex, and love. But trouble is afoot at Veritas. Rumors abound that a siren is haunting the library, and when Kyle's best friend is attacked, Kyle is determined to use his newly learned skills in erotic magic to catch the culprit. But which is more important, his quest for justice or his search for true love?

Normally do leave negative reviews but this one is a rough listen at time. The story itself is fine, though I don't love the way the climax and the main mystery is a little off. But the my main issue is the Voice actor. he isn't the worse I've listened to, but character voice take me out of the story, especially his nasally and Femme voices.

If your are interested in the stories, I would suggest buying the books. I

I am not sure why this book is listed as "Adult" & "Romance". Yes there are scenes with details at an NC-17 level but there is a real story here and its really good urban fantasy writing.

Take for instance the author Richard K. Morgan, he writes across sci-fi and fantasy genres but is not considered to be "Romance" Or "Adult" even though the books of his i have read have had scenes that would be NC-17. Both his fantasy series that stats with The Steel Remains, and his sci fi series stating with altered carbon are this way.

So back on this book. I guess the story could be seen as a little derivative but its done well with enough with unique magical ideas to make it really fun to listen to.

I recommend this book to all grown ups who like modern fish-out-of-water fantasy stories don't mind some sexy stuff sprinkled throughout a novel. Narrator is great to. This is a fun super easy listen. just make sure no kids are in ear shot, its not for them.

Entertaining and fun
