Great author, average reader

The narration edits with a different tone of voice were quite jarring; otherwise it was great.

Direction, instructional, and practical

This book was great! I gained a lot from this book. Being a new COO, I feel like I added a lot of value in the transparency of the role, however ambiguous from the role is from company to company. I’m definitely sharing this with my CEO to help enhance our communication and effectiveness.

I highly recommend this to anyone in the COO (or-like) role or anyone wanting more guidance on how the role should be framed up 👍

Just what I needed!

As the 1st in command understanding the relationship between myself and my COO is critical. I not only shared this with my #2, I read it cover to cover and it was worth every minute. I will be sharing with my fellow CEO’s, thank you.

A real aha moment

Reading this book was a real aha moment.
I now realise I've always overlooked the real power of the COO, the second in command and having been without a #2 for a few years I've realised what was really missing and why !

The go too guy for COO information

Im a CEO and I have been devouring Cameron´s content. First with Double Double, then a few talks on youtube and then this book. Even if Cameron is the expert for all COO things, there is a lot of great content here for CEOs and other people in organizations. This book is from someone that has really been there and done that, setting it apart from many books that are more research based, and with questionable conclusions.

I would recommend this book for all CEO´s, COOs and many parts of it for departments like HR, Operations, PR, etc.

There are some minor issues with the audio yes, but not sufficient to bother me. As a fan of audibooks, I am grateful when authors read their own audios, even if the quality might be a little lower, because it lends it authenticity and you know the stress in the words is all in the right places. I am also thankful they launch an audio, as many authors do not launch audios. Anyways, it didnt detract from the read at all for me, this is a business book not a Romance.

Great read!

I overall loved this book the only issue was in the engineering. The edits/re-recorded parts were very noticeable.

poor editing, good story/info

Hope I'm not the only one but the audio editing on this title is not good and distracting in-between no-so subtle edits.

Choppy dialogue but good points

Dry dialog with around 100 recordings pushed in at various points with different mic sensitivity setting. Makes for a hard listen even though the story is good and makes practical sense.
