Book One of The Ascension Framework Series

Narrado por: Taylor Monroe

What if humanity’s next stage of evolution wasn’t discovered…But engineered?

Elliot Voss spent decades pursuing a singular vision.

Until he found a way to rewrite the rules of life itself.

In secret, the billionaire futurist cured disease. Then he cured aging. Then… he vanished.

Now, without warning to anyone but a chosen few, the world is preparing to change.

The System will overlay the entire planet, bringing real stats, real levels, and three paths to evolution: Combat Class, Profession, and Race. But this isn’t a game. No do-overs. No respawns. And no one—not even the elite—is exempt.

As a handpicked team enters the first Tutorial shard, they must race to prepare Earth for its eventual induction into The System.

But Voss didn’t just want humanity to become stronger. He wanted it to become wiser. More compassionate. Worthy of the gifts to come.

In the end,

No one will remain unchanged.

For fans of: progression fantasy, LitRPG, character-driven sci-fi, expansive worldbuilding, and stories that explore not just what we can become… but what we should.

it's definitely different

overall it's not a bad book. I had to speed the narration up really fast and some of it is very predictive and you find yourself skipping. but overall, it was an interesting take on things and I'm not disappointed that I read it. but unless the other books are free or very cheap, I don't think I'll continue the series.

Wasn’t expecting much.

Happily surprised, I want to listen to the next book in the series. This seems well fleshed out and I can’t wait to see where it goes.

Great book!

I loved this book, listened to the whole thing in 1 day! Had me hooked. Looking forward to listening to the next one!

Excellent real world intrigue mixed w RPG action.

Really fun listen, well read (by a single person using great voices & accents), laughed out loud many times. Characters are all very interesting and engaging, something for everyone. Gets into D&D style RPG characteristics, mixed with real-world drama & strategizing, and looking forward to book #2!

Interesting read

The story spends time to give the reader a good idea of the characters and their roles. The build up leads to an exciting conclusion. The narrator is smooth and keeps the pace going so there’s no lag. His voices are very good.
