Wendy Walker is the internationally bestselling author of suspense novels, including the Audible Originals Hold Your Breath, American Girl, and Mad Love. Wendy holds degrees from Brown University and Georgetown Law School. This is a full-cast audiobook that is exceptionally well-done and utilizes a cast of voice actors that portray each character with sound effects and music to create an immersive audio drama experience. I so enjoyed “The Room Next Door,” written by the brilliant Wendy Walker. The narration is superb, with the voice actors bringing the characters to life. The story itself is a complexellent, thought-provoking ride. An absolute favorite of mine over my years with Audible, Julia Whelan, as always, proves her vocal genius. The entire narrative ensemble complement Whelan as they effortlessly work together. Walker leads us on an investigation of a years-ago missing person’s case. The production quality is top-notch, with crisp audio and well-placed sound effects that enhance the overall experience. The narrators are engaging, and their performance brings depth to “The Room Next Door.” I’m already looking for more full-cast audiobooks. Worth a cherished credit, however, this time I struck gold and was able to snag this from Audible Plus on release day at no charge. Grab this now and enjoy a unique and captivating listen. Epic, indeed!
