About the Creator

Wendy Walker is the internationally bestselling author of suspense novels, including the Audible Originals Hold Your Breath, American Girl, and Mad Love. Her novels have been translated into 23 foreign languages, topped bestseller lists both nationally and abroad, and have been optioned for both television and film. Wendy holds degrees from Brown University and Georgetown Law School. Hard to connect emotionally to any character, there were too many. But, it was an entertaining story nonetheless.

I loved how each character had a different person reading it. Along with the background noises, it made it much more immersive. The story took a bit to get started, but once it did, I couldn't stop listening. Making all the connections got a bit confusing at times, but when it all came together, it made perfect sense.

This one has just enough mystery and intrigue to keep me wrapped up and listening all day on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The friendships, the family ties, summer loves and a girl no one really even knew. I would recommend.
