Least Favorite

I have read every one of her books but i have to say this was my least favorite one. The story was losely connected and i really dislike books that jump back and forth. I really hope that she is not rushing her stories out to take advantage of her immense popularity

Gobsmacked!

Absolutely her best thus far with more twists and turns than her usual! Could not have seen any of it coming and the very end was absolutely brilliant! The entire story was brilliant! We got a twist in the middle and a shocker in the end! Well done McFadden! Narration was excellent as well! 10 stars!

Love the Author

I have read all of Freida's books and was excited for a new one. Love her style with twists and turns. This one felt predictable but then just turned too coincidental. Wish there was more with Lee and Anton too.

Freida McFadden does it again!

Okay, listen. The Intruder is Freida at her absolute best — dark, twisted, and totally unhinged in all the right ways. I liked The Housemaid, sure, but this one? It’s smarter, creepier, and way more unpredictable.

From the first chapter, I was suspicious of everyone — and I still managed to get blindsided. Every time I thought, “yep, I’ve cracked it,” Freida basically said, “sit down, sweetheart.” The pacing is ruthless. The characters are messy in that perfect psychological-thriller way. And the ending…a classic mic drop.

This book is chaos and tension wrapped in Freida’s signature “what the hell just happened” bow — and I loved every second. If you need a thriller that will mess with your head in the best way possible — The Intruder is it.
