In the most explosive book of the thrilling Wilde and Chase series, the intrepid pair must race against time before an ancient force is unleashed on the world...

Their days of death-defying adventure seemingly behind them, acclaimed archaeologist Nina Wilde and her husband, ex-SAS soldier Eddie Chase, live like any normal family. However, when a mythical civilisation is unearthed deep in the Antarctic ice, they are drawn into a battle for control of its astonishing power.

Dashing from New York to New Zealand, from futuristic Chinese cities to the outback of Australia, they soon confront the gravest threat they've ever faced. Pursued by ruthless mercenaries and a secret special forces unit, Nina and Eddie discover the clock is counting down to the extermination of all humanity...

This is the first book by A.M. that was to painful to listen to. I made it to the end of the first chapter! Never thought I would return a book from one of my favorite authors.

Bed narration

I have listened to the entire series and this narration was the worse, especially Eddie Chases voice! Made him seem like he’s in his 70s instead on 50!

Great story by Narration Sucks!

This is one of my favorite series. Now, I do realize the narrator has changed multiple times. It sounds weird at the start, but I get over it. Unfortunately, this narrator doesn't do a good job on voices, especially Eddie. He sounds like an old retired man. Most people don't sound like that on their 50th birthday. Other than that, the story was good. The ending was unexpected, but overall, I enjoyed it.

Great story, not so great narration

A couple years have passed since the last novel and now another mystery pulls them into an even larger and more dangerous adventure. An object has been found frozen in an iceberg off of Antarctica. Danger follows danger as Eddie and Nina, with daughter Macy in tow, literally fight to save the human race.

This book is over the top adventure with a cast that we've come to love. They may be a bit older, but they still live up to the name of Wilde Chase.

Love the book and could not recommend it more.

Eddie and Nina need to save the world again

It doesn’t serve readers well to have the story end with the good Ancients ending up back where they were when the story began.

Ending makes a futile story
