A return to greatness

I had my fears that this series was ending and that it was going to morph from the trials of Eddy and Nina and become the adventures of super-Macy. Don't get me wrong, I think Macy is a great character, but Eddie and Nina are why I buy these books. As I stated above, this book was a strong return to form with Eddie and Nina being front and center of the action.

The story picks up a few months after the end of the last book and the nemesis from that story has died...or has he? The trillionaire announces to the world that he was murdered and that he had his mind copied into a new quantum computer to now become immortal. On top of that, he announces that Nina was the one that killed him and that he is now offering a bounty for her head of one billion dollars. The chase begins! With a bounty that high, who can you really trust?

How many times can Nina or Chase almost die. Crazy read loved it. Love the series.

Still fun

The series is still good even 18 titles in. I appreciate the nod to both characters getting older.
