the attention to detail

I loved the book. I can't wait to listen to the entire Dirk Pitt series.

Always good to read a NUMA chronicle.

Nice seeing how they got the team together

Overall, a creative plotline.

The plot line was overall very creative. The character development was good. The narration was outstanding, as is ALWAYS the case with Scott Brick. On the negative side, the writer could have evolved from using Neanderthal terms such as “wop“ when referring to the gentleman of Italian descent, or “Oriental“ which refers to objects, not people. I will give the author’s work another try when the next one comes out.

Captivating story!

Such an imaginative story with fast moving plot. The reader is never bored as the plot moves quickly and the characters are unusual and interesting.

Finally the beginning

I have all but the first four Dirk novel. Finally the first. No disappointment, the story as fantastical as all the rest but totally on the fringe of believable

Fast paced and never stopped

Great story, great narration, great characters. I liked the slight paranormal hints and the detective work. Not to mention a nod to ancient Sumerians.

Clive Cluster has amazing series all around. Been patiently waiting for the first few Dirk Pitt books to be released with Audible.
