Resumen del Editor

A high-octane Wilde & Chase adventure from the international bestselling author.

World-renowned archaeologist Nina Wilde and her husband, former SAS soldier Eddie Chase, now lead a quiet life—the only real danger posed by their rebellious teenage daughter. Until, on a visit to a newly discovered temple, they're suddenly engulfed in a deadly hunt for an ancient weapon which threatens the entire globe.

From the bustling streets of Mexico City to the mountainous jungles of Guatemala, Nina and Eddie—with daughter Gracie in tow—are the only ones who can prevent an apocalyptic evil seizing control of an unstoppable power.

Battling special operations soldiers and blood-thirsty cults, Nina and Eddie must once again risk their lives to save the world...

I absolutely love this series

This is the 16th volume in the Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase series. This time a few years have passed since their last adventure and their daughter is now a teenager. They get invited to check out a discovery in Mexico that Nina might have some insight on. wouldn't you know it, a cult decides to come in and steal that discovery at that same time. By the way, the discovery is apparently EXTREMELY dangerous and destructive with links to Atlantis. Nina and Eddie, with Macy in tow, have no choice but to try to recover the item. Let the insane fireworks begin.

Listening to this book was like visiting old friends that have been away for far too long. The chases are crazier. The stunts are wilder. Eddie's jokes are just as groan-worthy. Imagine the craziest 1980s action movie with the crazy turned up to 11 and you get an idea. I can only hope that the wait for the next installment is shorter... because there will be another installment.

Needless to say, I wholeheartedly recommend this book.
yes there is a lot of violence. Yes there is a lot of swearing. There is no sex, beyond innuendo. But throughout it all is a loving family that will do absolutely anything to protect each other. Buy this book.
