Something is missing…

I can’t explain it. Maybe it’s that the narrators do a terrible job doing voices in the opposite gender, Ir maybe it’s the agonizingly slow pace and long pauses between sentences (I’m listening at x1.25 speed to eliminate the pause, but the trade off is the speed of what’s said is too fast at times).

Maybe it’s the sheer volume of characters, many with random powers that don’t seem well thought out. There’s so many stories and so many characters it is hard to truly connect to anything.

Or maybe it’s the excessive inner dialogue in the middle of high action scenes and inexplicably stupid and predictably dumb actions of the lead characters that almost makes me think they deserve what they’re getting.

But something keeps me listening…

What happened? So boring. On cheaper 10 and wondering why am I still listening?

Meh. Boring, I don’t get it, first few books were good. This one has nothing interesting l, exciting. Not even good relationships. Time to request a refund.
