Great book.

This is a great book. Hopefully people read or listen and actually take action. Not just read for the sake of reading. Use these methods and move onto a better life.

The Program

Love the book. I wish that it would go into greater detail on some things. But overall a great read or listen.

Can’t believe the quality for being free, Excellent!

Nothing terribly original, but the last couple hours are a great summary of a lot of content. Incredibly time effective content! I would give it 3-4 stars if I used a credit for it, but being free it’s an awesome value!

The Foundation

I recently started the process of choosing and training for what I believe will be my lifetime career and this is a book I reference internally or in conversions daily. It is on par if not greater in message and quality with the most popular leadership books/trainings in popular media and the world. Its basis is forged in the fire of real-life crisis and chaos and has honed into clean concise lessons with the saved rounds mentality. This book helped to shape me as a young man into the kind of person that serves my co-workers, peers, community, and my own family.

I truly believe I would not be the person I am today without the guidance The Program book and The Program Team provided me. “Do your Job” clearly defined my outlook from the concept in my mind, to a clear cut phrase. The individual guidance I was given by one team member of leveling up every aspect of myself equally, to perform at the highest level in everything I do, has made me an asset instead of a liability.

This book taught me that leadership is both a gift and a burden. We will not always be liked as a leader. We will not always be friends with our teams as a leader. However, we will always be respected for our leadership and respect for others; we will always be appreciated for our knowledge and ability; we will always be the standard and exceed it to show others what can be done.

I am sad to see this leaving Audible on 10/30/2024. I listen to this book regularly to learn more and remind myself who I need to be for those around me and for myself.

Good Book

I enjoyed this book very much. A book every leader, or every person who aspires to lead, should read. I believe military leaders really bring a lot to the table when it comes the the topic of leadership.
