A reminder to strive for what is good

There are not many people who challenge us to live our best lives by striving toward what is good. These virtues and character strengths are learned traits as Admiral McRaven points out — we just have to keep them in focus and strain onward in pursuit of them. I love this book because it’s a great refocuser as I reflected at the end of the chapters. I can’t wait read this with our kids and help them grow to live the hero code.

Everyone Needs This Review

I love listening to the Admiral read his own books. It’s inspiring and
Heartfelt, and brings patriotism to the forefront. So many great reminders in a context that is short to the point.
So glad he’s doing children’s books. Maybe the young generation can actually learn something about good moral conduct.

I love a great storyteller

Admiral McaRaven is a great narrator. Also through his stories the audience has a sense of wanting to be & do better. This book is wonderful and filled with life lessons.
