The female voice was robotic, story line was inconsistent. Overall just meh. The male voice was nice.

This read like a 2013 wattpad novel and it was very odd to hear one after so long

Interesting spin

It was a new spin on an old story. Kept me interested. About to go to next book.

Quick book, narration could use improvement.

I liked the idea of this book and though the story felt really sped through I did enjoy it. I will say the female narrator didn’t have as much infliction as I’d hope. Certain scenes warranted more warmth but it felt like she had only one more of narrating (in my opinion) there were definitely parts near the end I thought it was getting better but it just almost felt like she didn’t read the book prior and so her tone didn’t match the scene. Overall was a good listen and I will be listening to the next book.

I made it to the last half an hour and just could not finish. I really like the idea of the story but it was just bland. It didn't get my heart pumping.
I liked the narration by Troy Duran but the female character had trouble keeping my attention. I feel bad entering this review because I don't like to give low ratings. I love RH stories but I wasn't feeling any sparks between the characters.

The female voice almost sounded AI

Not enough story too much smut. Unless you want a ratio of 2:1 smut:story. Had high hopes, couldn’t finish it.

I couldn’t finish it.

I couldn’t continue reading the book because of two reasons.
1. The voice actresses voice sounded nasally and felt that voice would have fit better voice acting a overly nerdy girl in a cartoon series or something more comedic.

2. Yes I know it’s five hours long but the plot (30+ minutes in) went to fast for my taste and it left a bad after taste of ‘I’m not like other girls’

Wow

This book is now one of my favorites that I will listen to again! It captured my attention almost from the moment it started. Helen Scott did an amazing job on this story I can not wait to start the next book!

Narrator sounded like AI

I couldn’t finish this book which is rare for me. The woman narrating sounded more AI than human. It felt stiff and unnatural. I think the storyline is fine though.

I gave this book 4 hours and I still couldn't do it. The story has potential. but for a major ebook listener it's hard to do.
