Good Read

Informative Science Backed

This book was very informative and science-based. Not only did it thoroughly explain what PCOS is, but it also detailed an exercise plan, and several diets to help reverse symptoms. The diets were then compared and contrasted in detail, listing pros and cons of each. Key ingredient words were listed in great length, with helpful explanations of why each is important and what affects each has on PCOS. All in all, a very motivating read!

Great compilation of RESEARCH

Jane has down the leg work for us. I’ve struggled to find solid science backed research for PCOS. But after finishing this audiobook I could see how making “changes” that I had heard of before would effect my body and drive progress. I’m excited to reread it again with my partner and start making these syndrome treating milestones a part of my meals and lifestyle. Thank you Jane for removing the confusion for the majority of us!!

Lots of great dietary tips!

This audiobook was given to me for free for my honest opinion. I actually already read this in Kindle format but it was still the same information. I was never aware that you could change your diet to help certain symptoms of PCOS. If there was a diet, I never knew about it.

I did, in fact, try some of the dietary changes suggested in this book but I don't think I tried some of them for long enough to see results. For example, I was trying to eat walnuts every day. That was hard because walnuts are not my favorite but they increased sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) so I thought I would give it a try. It did not last long.

However, I did start taking a multivitamin, Vitamin D and Fish Oil supplements and just doing that little bit has helped me feel better overall. I am already pretty active, I work out between 1 and 4 hours any given day of the week so that left changing some of my eating habits. I hope to continue with some of these dietary changes which will, hopefully, help aleast suppress some of the symptoms of PCOS.

So Helpful!

This audio book gave so much insight into my PCOS and how to handle it! I was diagnosed at 14 years old in 2004 when PCOS was a newer diagnosis and bc of that I’ve never really had guidance on how to manage my symptoms! I am now 30 years old 100lbs overweight with all symptoms associated with PCOS and I’m grateful to have found this audiobook that gave me all the information needed to start my recovery journey!

A great book for educating yourself and others on PCOS

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 14, over the last 11 years I have tried various diets without actually know why I should do those diets, this book broke down all of the different diet plans and why they work. I have learned so much about PCOS from the book.
