short and to the point

The narrator is amazing as always. Once the ball starts rolling in this story there is no stopping it. You think you know what's coming next and it keeps suprising you. Horrific and unimaginable things go thump in the night (mist)

Great story and performance

This was truly a great listening experience. First you have the story by Mr. King which is well written, terrifying at times, and always interesting. The performance of the story by Will Patton is fantastic as well. Full of energy and haunting at times. The words come alive as he reads.

SK's best novella, an amazing read! H is for....?

My favorite apocalyptic horror story of all time. Published the year I was born (1980,) in the book "Dark Forces," I first read "The Mist" in "Skeleton Crew," a copy I took from my parent's bookshelf in the early 90's. You care about David, Amanda and the others in the supermarket. Better than that, no-one can make you hate a character like Stephen King . Mrs. Carmody is so easy to hate, but the image of her in my mind is of Marcia Gay Harden, she played the antagonist in the "Made for TV" movie, the opposite of the way she is described in the book (I imagine a huge obese woman in a yellow jogging suit.)

I love this novella, and the book "Skeleton Crew" is an amazing read as well. I definitely recommend it.

Really fun read

I have been waiting to read this book for a wile now, and to day seemed as good as any other day so I listened to it in one go!

another Stephen King masterpiece

Another Stephen King Masterpiece read expertly by William Patton... I'm a huge fan of both, especially when they work together!

just ok

The story was just ok. Mr King put so much detail into it, which in normally fine. However, this story was way too short for the details. He even called himself out about the ending being up to the reader to determine. It would have been nice to hear some background and how the story played out.

oh my!

This is such a good book! I'm glad I watched the show before listening to the book. It helped me picture the characters. I won't add any spoilers but I'm happy the ending is the way that it is. Also the narrator, he' amazing. I love his voice.
