Publisher's summary

The invasion of Earth continues—along with worse things on the horizon.

Jason has finally gotten confirmation that Rob is alive. Now, all he has to do is ensure that Rob still has a home to return to when all is said and done. After defeating a Blighted copy of himself and growing stronger, Jason puts all his efforts into defending Earth from the eldritch monsters that seek to devour it.

Unfortunately, sometimes, humans make for the worst kinds of monsters. Jason's investigation into a series of bizarre incidents reveals horrifying experimentation that would put an ordinary mad scientist to shame. Someone is trying to harness the power of the Blight... and they don't care how many people end up suffering along the way.

Can't have that happening. Jason and his newly assembled team of misfits refuse to let Earth turn into a madman's personal playground. They're more than happy to introduce some humanity to the good doctor.

Preferably by ramming a sword through his face.

An Outcast in Another World is a LitRPG adventure series with elements of fantasy, isekai, progression, and weak-to-strong. Jason's side story focuses on the world that Rob left behind after being isekai'd. Fight scenes are high-octane duels that involve creative decision-making on Jason's part.

I want more

I enjoy learning what is happening with Jason and am looking forward to when he and Rob can kick ass together. The next book can't come fast enough.

This is a fun Jason Side Quest

So, back on Earth Jason is a one-man Blight terminator who, along the way, befriends humans who have been possessed by these ne'er-do-wells. The major antagonist is a mad scientist who intentionally kills and infects human with abandon. The book is very entertaining but jumps-the-shark with the infinity angle along with Jason's OP capabilities.

Still, it was interesting and leaves open the question on whether Jason and Rob may eventually meet up again.

... and Neil Hellegers' performance, seriously! you have to wonder? Nails it!

One of the best in the series!

This series is aging well! I really enjoyed the humor, performance, and storyline. The characters are well developed, as are the relationships they have with each other.

left me wanting more

at times it felt rushed and I wish it was as long as its counterparts, I understand it was a side story but it could have easily been a second story running parallel to the other
