Obstacles such as depression, fear, pride, and greed attempt to keep him from truly knowing Jesus, and it wasn’t until he hit rock bottom that he was forced to look to God for help. Even after finding God, he faces the challenges that come with being a new believer.
His faith is tested with fire, and after being blinded both spiritually and physically, God removes him from what could’ve been the end.
