Not Jesus

Although there are many great stories, most do not represent the real Jesus or a real PERSONAL relationship with Jesus. Too many stories are “Me and Jesus got our own thing going.”

Scripturally they do need somebody to tell them what it’s all about. Maybe Kathie Lee should tell them. They are her closest friends.

I do pray each of these people will truly find the real Jesus and serve Him. And YES, worship Him. You can do no other if you realize what hHe did for you. Died for me, you, us! But it’s not lip service or passive. It REQUIRES commitment the THE King of kings and Lord of lords.

A little out of touch with regular folks

Although some of her stories and biblical references are relevant it seems to me that it would've been more effective to get stories from more everyday people that are living in the real world. She interviewed celebrities and other individuals who really don't understand the struggle of where their next meal is coming from or how to pay the electric bill or if they're going to lose their home. When listening to the audiobook it sounds choppy, fake, and almost forced Conversations.

Disappointed

I was a little disappointed with so much Luke warm views of the Bible. Felt almost uncomfortable listening to some of those she interviewed. It almost leaves you with the false feeling that whatever you think or do is enough be saved.

Amazing life stories

So beautiful to see how differently we all experience God! Everyone view is so different but truly helps us to see him from all angles.

A good witness for our Holy Father

This is a well written book. the research that went into making this book is greatly appreciated. Knowing the different ways people have encountered Jesus, reaffirms my own encounter with Him. He is real, and comes to His children' s aid, who believes in Him. He has visited me several times, so I believe everyone' s testimony in this narration of "The Jesus I Know" Good job Katie 🙂

I remember seeing Kathie Lee Gifford on TV when I was younger, but I never knew her story. I shared a little bit of my story on a local Facebook page and someone said you remind me a lot of Kathie Lee… You should read her book! I ordered it on Audible less than a day ago and I just finished it! I love the way she shares her faith!

It reminds me of probably one of my favorite Bible verses where Paul says “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but only God can make it grow.“.
