Publisher's Summary

Little did Maggie Duncan know how great the sacrifice she would be making. Forty-seven years have passed since she was separated from her beloved Scotland and her beloved husband, Ian. More than time and oceans seem to have conspired to keep them apart, but Maggie continues to trust in the Lord and never gives up hope. Through forgiveness and acceptance, she comes to believe that all things happen according to God's will and in His time.

Great Series

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I couldn't put this one down. When I had finished one book I had to go and get the next book in the series. It kept my attention all the way through the series.

What does Davina Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have listened some other books by Davina Porter. I like the way she makes the people come alive when she tells the story.

To long to be reunited

The story was well written and kept my interest but 47 years of life without being with your one true love is way to long for a happy ending, it felt more like a wasted life. Even so the ending did make up for it somewhat.
