I was looking for a new detective/cop series when I stumbled upon this one. It’s really good. I’m not telling you any details so I don’t spoil it for you. Come on, we need the new next three books.

Love this new series! Great sequel!

I love this new series. I love all of Janet Evanovich's books, but the Plum series has gotten very formulaic. When she does a new series, she has the opportunity to start fresh with all new characters and storylines. They all have the classic humor one has come to expect from Janet Evanovich, but you get to experience the joy of discovering her all over again. I read both books in this series back to back and they did not disappoint. Clever, independent, and funny female character lead and a lead male character that respects and supports her and does not want to change her. Particularly enjoyed the supporting character, Jim, their guide and driver, who adds humor and humanity to the story. His character is someone you want to see more of and get to know better. A fun, lighthearted read.
