Publisher's Summary

Janet Evanovich, number-one New York Times best-selling author of the Stephanie Plum series, teams up with Emmy-winning writer Phoef Sutton for a brand-new series of mysteries featuring Emerson Knight and Riley Moon, a dynamic duo with instant and undeniable chemistry.

Emerson Knight is introverted and eccentric and has little to no sense of social etiquette. Good thing he's also brilliant, rich, and (some people might say) handsome, or he'd probably be homeless.

Riley Moon has just graduated from Harvard Business and Harvard Law. Her aggressive Texas spitfire attitude has helped her land her dream job as a junior analyst with megabank Blane-Grunwald. At least Riley Moon thought it was her dream job, until she is given her first assignment: babysitting Emerson Knight.

What starts off as an inquiry about missing bank funds in the Knight account leads to inquiries about a missing man, missing gold, and a life-and-death race across the country. Through the streets of Washington, DC, and down into the underground vault of the Federal Reserve in New York City, an evil plan is exposed. A plan so sinister that only a megalomaniac could think it up, and only the unlikely duo of the irrepressibly charming Emerson Knight and the tenacious Riley Moon can stop it.

Awesome

I'm glad I came in at the beginning of Moon and Knight, they're quite a pair! Looking forward to the next installment. Narrator is well suited, you can practically tell each character by the voice. Profanity is minimal, with laugh out loud parts. Thank you, Janet, Phoef, and Lorelei, it was a great adventure.

Next book please!!!!

Her voice! Riley's voice is exact Teaxan and priceless. I love how she can adapt new voices. I do recognize one from another book but great nonetheless. This book is Stephanie Plum( who I love, hands down the best books ever in her category) subdued. Absolutely, positively entertaining. This is a calm breeze Stephanie Plum where the action is not overworked and the jokes are for those with intellectual comedic understanding. Emerson is a true pleasure. Thank you so much for another great series!!

Evanovich/Sutton Great Team

Whenever I see Evanovich and Lorelei King, I know the book is going to be great. And, great it was. Having Phoef Sutton did not take away from the book. I believe it might have helped it. I knew that if it was an Evanovich book, it would be enjoyable. I didn't realize the significance of "Knight" and "Moon" until I saw it here, in the title. If you're looking for romance, you won't find it here. However, there is a "hint" of romance, maybe to come. It is very entertaining. Really enjoyed listening to the Evanovich and the Lorelei King duo. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Could've Been Better

Narrator too enunciated. Story uninspiring and full of company name drops like Starbucks, Pepsi, etc.

I loved it.

A fun twist on sherlock holmes style mystery. It's fun to see the mad conspiracies that are so vast they don't make you worry. Emerson was charmingly awkward. Eccentric and ridiculous but with an odd sweetness that negated the urge I get when I watch sherlock to punch the brilliant mind. Riley was fun down to earth, and grounded (in student debt). She reacted in a very natural way to the man and the mystery. I can't wait for future stories, I definitely recommend this book.

My Review

I really like the Stephanie Plum series. It was really hard for me to get into this book because it is read by the same person as the Stephanie Plum series. I could not connect to the characters in this book.

Stephanie Plum part 2

Same characters:different names. Riley is Stephanie; Myra is a cross between Lula and Grandma. Knight is part Ranger and part nut. Having the same narrator didn't help.

Awesome

Janet Evanovich always writes stories that make me laugh, hold my breath a moment and genuinely entertains. I always anticipate her next release and mark my calendar to remind myself. By far my favorite author. I own over 600 audible books in my library and she has always been the go to author when I want to just unwind!

blah

Predictable, characters lack depth, a total disappointment. Not a single laugh, which is nothing like a Janet Evanovich's books.
