BEFORE Janet became GREAT!!

This book is difficult to listen to, meanders about and is often out on a tangent. Janet is (in my opinion) the second best author of humorous romance on the planet (sorry - Jennifer Crusie is funnier) but this is just not done in her usual charming and captivating style. Don't waste your credit!

sex-ed for preschoolers

I love the author and her stories. They have a playful and sarcastic edge, almost comic. The narrator has demeaned this audiobook into a horrible stuccato and plaused reading. It seemed to be a reading more appreciated by a group of four or five year olds. I felt shocked and ashamed that the voice that would tell me about 'Old Mother Hubberd' was telling me about the devirgining of the main character.

Snore...

IF all you want is several hours of 'his chest was glistening...' and 'her pouty lips' without any real plot or reason for this existing, buy this book. As a fan of 'Stephanie Plum' by Evanovich, I was supremely disappointed and felt the money spent on this audio book was a total waste. I was a little shocked that such a good author could write such a boring, lame book. Don't get me wrong. I've read good romance books. They generally have a real plot somewhere among the sweat. This pretended it did. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

OK story

I really like Janet Evanovich's stories. However this one was a bit corny. Also it came to an abrupt halt. The story was going along all nice and intriguing and then it was like 'oh, we need to finish this up' and then next several minutes were just a rapid conculsion. It seemed out of place.

IT AS ALL OF HER BOOKS ARE THE GREATEST. ALL OF HER BOOKS HOLD YOUR ATTENTION RIGHT TO THE END. LEAVING YOU WANTING MORE.

A lustful and boring story

The story line was absolutely boring the title didn’t really fit the story and it was more about the characters lust for one another.

Foul Play

I really enjoyed reading this story. This is a laugh out loud story. Loved the interaction between the characters. Ms. Evanovich comes up with the greatest stories.

Love to listen to all Janet Evonavich books. They are highly entertaining. I recommend any and all that she writes!

I love listening to the narrator, she was the only redeeming quality. I suggest finding another book.

Disappointed

I was very disappointed with this story and could not wait for it to be over. I have read tons of Janet Evanovich books, but this one seemed to be written by a completely different and very inexperienced author. Not worth the money I paid for it.
