But that tranquility is shattered when he realizes a figure from his past has arrived in town, armed with a knife, his intentions clear from the man’s attempts to break into Evan’s house in the middle of the night. The authorities can do nothing.

Evan can only turn to the nightmares that plague his sleeping hours for answers. But the question is: Can those dreams save him, or are they part of the intruder’s plan?

Good short story

Short and to the point. I did have to listen twice to it though to figure out the ending. But, it was worth it.

The narrator read it a little fast, otherwise it had a good twisty turn at the end.

Justice Prevails

Quick read. Sometimes things turn out the way they should, especially if the ending is helped along by an unexpected source.

Very Interesting Novella Read Twice

I, too, had to listen to the story twice. It was very imaginative but hard to figure out the conclusion at first. Overall, it was good, and I am glad that I could listen to the whole novella in one sitting, or should I say I could listen twice in one sitting. I recommend it, but be advised to pay close attention as you read.

Short and Sweet

I liked the overall pacing and dialog in the story. The narrator does a great job of sounding natural. The story was nice and short so it could be completed in one sitting.
