lots of material from other speakers and books
The author share lots of material from other resources, seemed like little original material in this work. I also felt this book was more suited for someone wanting to break out into business and not as much for someone already in middle management wanting to move up. Narration sounded like done with an old cassette recorder. Overall the book has a few good points if you haven't heard a lot of other authors, but if you have listened to others there is little new that you will pull away from this book.

Authentic & Practical way to own your career
This was an outstanding book that all levels and industries can leverage. It inspires the individual contributor to take control of their career while offering practical and fundamental tools to implement new habits for success.
The other great thing is it's the perfect tool for people leaders to leverage when developing their employees. It provides solutions to create a high performing individual or team.
I loved that the author used his own life as an example of how you can change the trajectory of your career by leaning into your failures using them as the catalyst to ignite new life. It is truly like having a personal coach in your phone
