Lacked proper pacing and feels like it could use a rewrite

The idea and the premise were really interesting and fun to listen to. However, there were some things that didn’t really make sense through out the book where the MCs decision making process and power levels were very confusing. For example the MC becomes a multi billionaire and refuses to move out of his apartment because of his lease being hard to get out of and ends up needing lawyers to take care of it. When he could have easily just paid off his lease or just not lived in the shitty apartment while paying it for the rest of the year. Also with the power level he struggles to beat people who he should be vastly more powerful then and other confusing pieces throughout the book. Also his relationships with others aren’t built up the reasoning behind why he’s friends with people doesn’t get fleshed out. He gets betrayed by one of his “allies” and it just never shows any insight into why they betray him they just decide to one day and stuff that felt like it was being built up with that character just never gets mentioned again. It kinda feels like the author had written the character one way and then just changed what they wanted that character to be and never changed there intros other than that it was a good system and I’d probably listen to another one.
