Better the second time around

Love this whole series. This story was so magnetic and live there chemistry and the way they loved each other

overall I loved this but I just wish we saw a little more of them together besides the spicy scenes.

I love this series and this book is no exception! Teddy & Aiden just wow! anything they do together is awesome the narration is perfect for Colt & William. loved the story! please please have both narrators return if another book comes out!!!

If I could inject Teddy’s voice into my veins I would

I’ve more or less listened to every MM book Teddy has done, I swear could listen to him narrate a soup can. When this audio dropped, despite not having prior interest in this series; I binge read them all just to listen to this one. And as expected Teddy (as well as Aiden) did not disappoint. This is my second time listening to them do dual narration and honestly they’re a well suited team!

Plot wise the story is fine, I wish there was a little more drama but alas it is what it is. The majority of the story is very push and pull with the whole “we shouldn’t do this but i can’t stop” thing not to mention it really puts the slow in slow burn. I do have to say — the pacing and general plot set up of this one is very similar to Burning the Midnight Oil (Book 3). But I honestly liked this one better. And overall, thus far I would rank this as my second favorite behind Dirt Road Secrets.

As a side note: it was also nice getting to know Conrad a bit more in this book. With all the set up throughout the series for his and Whit’s book, I’ve grown very excited for it.

Enjoyable

I am loving this series and was looking forward to Colt and Williams story. These are two of the best narrators and they were amazing as always. The story was good, although it took a long time for them to get there, once they were all in there was no stopping them and it was hot, swoony, and great!

This was the most beautiful story I have heard in a very long time, so romantic, sexy and funny. I love how quickly the author drew me in to the characters. I cared about both of them almost instantly. The additional characters in this world are incredibly great and you get more insight into them without overtaking the main characters. The voice actors are phenomenal and they really make you feel even more what each character was experiencing. This is the first book in this series that I have read. I can't wait to start at the first one in the series and read the other ones as well! I cannot recommend this enough! It is a great read and a good time!

Ashley James is amazing. Her writing and development of her characters makes you fall in love with them over and over again. This series continues to be one of my favorites.

Colt and Will. Colt...the young 20+, cocky, no commitment bill rider is injured on the circuit in one of the previous books. He's forced to stay home while his friends and rodeo life continue without him, This leaves him upset and frustrated.

Will- 2 years ago he and Colt met each other in a bar in another state and that night, they pretendednto not know one another...to carry on the one night as strangers. Why? Will is Colt's dad's best friend. Will and Colt have known eachother since Colt was born.
The doctor can't stop himself.

After spending time together (and some good old flirting from Colt) the two secretly rekindle the spark they found that night. Only that spark turns into a raging fire.

Will and Colt navigate their relationship, what it means to their families and Copper Lake, falling more and more in love. This is a very happy HEA with spice and trust and understanding. And cameos with Shooter ;-) It's so good.

William and Colt's story was about as perfect as one could be! I loved the way it started right to the end and all the bumps along the way!

While I love the rodeo scene that was present in the other books, this felt super unique because it was Colt's journey while healing. I thought the author did an amazing job capturing the emotions Colt has while he was dealing with the struggles of being out for the season and the unknown of when he can compete again.

the narrators did an amazing job capturing each of the emotions and characters throughout the story and I loved listening!

I think my favorite parts of the story were the more tender aspects of William and Colt's relationship! My heart melted the first time Will called Colt "baby!

This continues to be an amazing series and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

Narration!!!

This has become one of my favorite audio books. I love the story, banter, and narration. I'm on my 5th time listening.
