What a fun listen!

Bravo to the cast of this audiobook, who made a fun story such a delight to listen to. The characters were an absolute delight, Saga and Avery were a wonderful pair to read about. Murder mystery is not my usual genre but this was done in such a way that I was hooked. I loved the world that was built in this novel and look forward to more stories set in this world.

This is everything I love in a fantasy and in a mystery. The performance is perfect and the writing is a delight. Cannot recommend enough!

I need more Savory, immediately.

I loved every word of this book. I found myself delaying listening to it as I got closer and closer to the end so I could make it last just a bit longer.

Wonderfully written with the perfect balance of surprises that keep you intrigued but not so many twists and turns that it’s hard to follow the story.

The last exchange between Saga and Avery brought more than a tear to my eye.

I am eagerly awaiting more delightful detective tales from Kiri Callaghan!

Sherlock, Fey, and Hitchhiker’s Guide Humor

For those of you who love to live with one foot in either realm. This modern day Sherlockian mystery brings two worlds together in such a fun way and gets you hooked from the very start. The narrators are perfection in bringing their characters to life, and the excitement of hearing the little chime go off as the author reads her footnotes is so addicting that you go through withdrawals when you go too long without hearing one. I cannot wait to see what is in store for Avery and Saga next. This was a truly delightful and exhilarating read, and I will be on the lookout for the remainder of this series.
