Fantastic

This is a terrific Gothic-style novel. A slow burn with a killer ending (that's not a spoiler, btw). The narrator was perfect, as well.

Loved this book

I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this book. It is not what I usually listen to, however, it kept me guessing the entire time and was very entertaining. I enjoyed the writers portrayal of all of the characters. It was a fun read.

This book was so good, original, intriguing. Lovers it so much. Best one this year.

What a Rollercoaster!!

This book was terrific. The perfect blend of Gothic horror and the idea of psychological medicine when it comes to women. The narrator had a fantastic tone that lent itself well to the tale being told. This book with become an annual Halloween read for me.

Another page turner!

Laura does it again! Another page turner or umm whatever the audible equivalent would be! Think Dr Who's Weeping Angels but wooden cut-out form. So many intriguing twists and turns and characters that you can really sink your time into and get invested in. Even though I just finished it, I fully plan on starting it again shortly so that I can catch those "teasers" she left in plain sight and see how the story evolves and changes with a second reading. That's the best part of her writing; no matter how many times you read her books, inevitably, you will find another hidden gem with each reading!
