Captivating and beautiful

I have never written a review. I listened to Louisa Morgan 's other books and stumbled across this new release. It is the best this far!

I love stories about Arthur and the different retellings and histories about him and his court.

I like the different version of this story and I liked that Morgana what’s in the forefront of this retelling. I have not heard much about Morgana except for things she had done that weren’t with good intentions.

A fresh look at Arthurian legend

Gorgeous story with delightful characterization, just new enough to be fascinating and also close enough to the shared vision we all have of this time to be satisfying. I highly recommend this and Morgan’s other works.

The characters, narrator and the story and the addition of Brave. I would have loved to have another story about Brave.

I listened to this in my car and I couldn’t wait to do another errand so I could hear some more

Such a beautiful retelling of Arthurian legend! I couldn’t stop listening. The characters, especially Morgana, have so much depth and are absolutely endearing.

Absolutely Engaging

As someone who's never read any original Arthurian texts, I loved this thorough and engaging telling of the story and characters. it prompted me to do some digging on the versions that have existed over the years, and I feel like I understand the story much more as piece together this story with the various references and versions that I've seen noted in various shows and movies that reprise the characters rules. the story itself is very engaging and the main characters are endearing. it's a world I would love to enter and live in.
