A new life on another world!

Morgan used to be a pretty chill dude, until he got hit by a car, died, and then got sent to another world by a god-not-god. A world where the only way to survive was to level and grow strong enough to survive all the monsters that wanted to eat your face. If he was being completely honest with himself, Morgan quite liked this world, even with all the monsters and the lack of electricity. Sure, there were people that were technically gods, running around and interfering with his life, but who didn't have problems?

Things weren't all that bad; Morgan found friends, who included bad-ass elven twins, an orc, and a descendant of a Roman General from an alternate version of Earth, and together with them he founded a Guild, got some followers, and basically became a ruler.

So yeah, not all too bad - except that he now had several towns and villages of people looking to him for guidance and protection. And to make matters worse, a new Goblin King had risen and united the tribes in the mountains. Now they had a goblin horde on the way, and Morgan and his friends had to figure out a way to protect them all. Should be easy, right?

Good continuation of series

We get city building and good character progression in this installment. The series is not quite 5 star, but still a fun listen and better than just a light listen.

Wow this book is great

yes he seems a little op but he has many life and death situations and that is what draws me in for more but im a big fan of op MC but I think they did well with this series so far I cant wate to listen to the next book

Wonderful 2nd book

Definitely recommend if you've read the first, great story and great voice reader! Can't wait for the 3rd!

getting better as we go

What a great continuation of the story from pick up to finish. This book went through to build up the team, guild, friends, and the community. It sets up perfect for the next book I can't wait to continue to listen, plus the Narrator of this series does a good job he is probably my second best to listen to.

Takes a minute but gets really good

really good story and the characters grow on you. down side is if I hear another stat recap I'm gonna to lose my mind,

Great second book

The pilot thickens. we learn a lot more about the MC's past, and his possible future. The skirmish against the goblins was intense and enjoyable to listen to. The story pacing seems just right, the power progression feels good, and the narrator is doing a pretty good job. overall. The book is enjoyable and I'm definitely heading over to read the third one. I'd recommend this series.

Nice continuation

I really like who it ties in with the last book, however it does introduce some information in odd ways. It also has some character introduction that can cause confusion.

Great story and cannot wait to start the next book. So far I have not been disappointed with anything about this series.

Solid Listen

Very well written. Beautiful balance of action, love and friendship without getting cheesy. I love the growth of the character while still remaining true to himself. I appreciate it didn't take long to learn the protagonist story. Did a great job making the love story relatable while not distracting from the main premise.

I wish there was a bit more range from the voice actor to make the voices sound different. After a while many of the voices started to sound the same. Luckily all the main characters voices are distinct. However some of the supporting roles sound similar to some of the main characters.
