Wow. The author has a new fan!
I came to Drop Trooper via a recommendation from a Galaxy’s Edge message board. I really enjoyed this set of books. The character development was spot on. The pacing very quick. The only improve I would have is that there was so much crammed into each minute of the books so that these four books could have easily been six books. The author did a great job. I’m off now to read/listen to book 5!

Starship Troopers meets Hammers Slammers
This series is excellent military sci-fi! It's like a zoomed in version of Heinlein's Starship Troopers - more depth to the characters, the battles, and their interactions - combined with the grit of Drake's Slammers series.
A+ world building. Likable characters and believable situations. The military aspect is woven into the story seamlessly and adds to the whole story. Great example of what military sci-fi should be!
