Narrator did a magnificent job of keeping me invested throughout the story. Will definitely look for more of his work

Not much fighting more like an angst filled teenage drama unless you like adult crybabies

More cultivation based sysem

I didn't think it was to bad, but wasn't amazing. the narration is solid and it has some promise but takes awhile to get there.

this is so boring

ok so I got 3.5 hours into this story and just stopped, it just drones on very little action, lots of inner dialogue lots of nothing happening. part of it is story and part of it is narration, I'd probably be better off reading than listening, though all that inner dialogue would also be skipped in the book . I listen to books between 3-4.5 speed this one easily started at 1.5 for me...cover and synopsis pulled me in. maybe I'll revisit on a slow day.

Why does the MC always need some tragic backstory or PTSD about something? Can't we get a competent mc that has tons of fun during a apocalypse?
