mixed thoughts

this book is long, which normally would be fine, however, I feel the author got side tracked by the romantic paring of most main and several peripheral characters. This was, I think, an attempt to make a statement about tolerance and against prejudice. unfortunately, it was crammed into a group of chapters just before the cli.ax, abruptly stalling the pace of the book. the author would have been better served by scattering these elements throughout the book. Great narration and look forward to the next installment.

Love Love Love

I was so upset after the last book that I couldn’t listen to it a second time (and I’d already listened to all the others like 10 times each) until it was time to re-listen to the whole series in preparation for this book. That being said, I loved this book every bit as much as I’ve loved the entire series — possibly even more. I’m not upset anymore. I’m so excited to hear what comes next. Oh please let there be another book!

Better and better

As the series has progressed, I have become deeply attached to the characters—- so much so that I saddened by the thought of having to wait for the next book to be released.

I’ve read thousands of books in my life. But rarely have I been so affected by the story line and the characters.

The courage of the characters have inspired me in my life to stand up when I see injustice and to yearn for relationships that touch the soul.

These books have changed how I live. I cannot praise them enough.

Great read

There are a lot more point of views than in the previous books and they really helps flush out the world and showcase different peoples actions and encounters. Especially Trystan’s! Very good read, can’t wait for the next book!

Heart shattering

I feel like I can’t really write much without giving things away.
This series is one of my favorite , so very unique and captivating. This book definitely sets up the finale in a heartbreaking way.

It’s everything

I’m obsessed with this series. The books just keep getting better and better. I cannot recommend them enough. I will say I am sad at how the love triangle turned out though. I won’t spoil it but I was hoping it went the other way.
