WARNING: May contain Egyptian gods, werewolves, power armor, and a world-ending apocalypse

A pyramid predating all known cultures appears without warning. Its discovery throws into question everything we know about the origins of mankind.

Inside lies incredible technology, proof of a culture far more advanced than our own. Something dark lurks within, eager to resume a war as old as mankind. When it is unleashed it heralds the end of our species’ reign.

A plague of werewolves spreads across the world. A sunspot larger than anything in recorded history begins to grow. Yet both pale in comparison to the true threat, the evil the werewolves were created to fight.

"It's like Indiana Jones went through the Stargate and ended up in Aliens versus Predator." (One of the author's totally biased friends)

This collection gathers No Such Thing as Werewolves, No Mere Zombie, Vampires Don't Sparkle, and The Great Pack.

Took me quite awhile to finally finish it but glad I did. Really enjoyed how the author brings folklore and gods to life.

worth the credit

This, and the other series I listened by him so far The Magitech Chronicles, are unique and fun with characters you cheer for and villains you love to hate. Nice pacing and definitely worth the listen.

Fun Listen

Awesome book all around. The narrator seems to not know English by some of the simple words he can’t pronounce correctly. But he does an all around good job. The story is awesome. Who doesn’t love wear wolves and zombies tearing each other apart with gods of all pantheons and all sorts of tech.

Great guts. And a great story.

This audiobook was so long it was like living with another person. With that being said it was very enjoyable and last a few months worth of occasional walks. each of the four books got better and I can see Chris Fox improving as a writer as the story went along

like a second spouse

The way the story plays out is practical (as in, realistic plot even though its a fantasy). It does the best job I've seen of a book incorporating myth into the real world and even paints a plausible and believable reason for why everything is the way it is.
The narrator is great, that being said, I have listened to better narrators, but Ryan Kurke still does a great job and doesn't disappoint.
I love that the first book isn't in-your-face about the nudity and romance. It actually puts all the weight into the story and doesn't rely on the gimmick of sex appeal.
All in all, the world generation is amazing and gripping. I found myself eagerly wanting to understand more about the world, it's different factions, and how they interact.

Pleasantly Surprised
