Z-Burbia 2: Parkway to Hell

With Whispering Pines refusing to give up and die, Jace “Long Pork” Stanford has nothing better to do than find out who the heavily-armed newcomers in town are. Well, while he’s not busy dealing with the ever present Z hordes. Or running for his life from paramilitary mercenaries. Or possibly blowing up more of the zombie-infested city because he can’t help pressing buttons. Buttons are meant to be pressed, even in the apocalypse, right?

Z-Burbia 3: Estate of the Dead

Jace Stanford has lost family, friends, and his arm to the zombie apocalypse that hit his subdivision of Whispering Pines. But he’s also gained something he never in a million years would have thought would be a plus: the cannibal savant known as Elsbeth.

Now Jace needs Elsbeth’s help more than ever. But is she up to the task when her past is revealed?

A past that is possibly more shocking than the zombie apocalypse itself? Jace is gonna find out the hard way.

Z-Burbia 4: Cannibal Road

Forced out of Asheville, Jace Stanford’s family, along with a convoy of suburbanites, misfits, criminals, and soldiers, must battle their way through the I-40 corridor of Eastern Tennessee.
When they are separated from their friends and allies in Knoxville, the Stanfords have to rely on their skills as post-apocalyptic survivors to fight off the Zs, insane Vols fans, homicidal sorority girls, and the most deadly of the post-apocalyptic threats- cannibal gangs!

No longer are the Stanfords trying to survive day by day, but hour by hour and minute by minute, as they flee Z-Burbia and race through the hellscape of Cannibal Road!

Z-Burbia 5: The Bleeding Heartland

The American Midwest was a bucolic landscape that didn’t quite adjust to the zombie apocalypse. Instead of open arms and welcoming faces, there are now open mouths and ravenous Zs. The blue collar drive to work hard has become a red-mouthed hunger for flesh.

Jace Stanford, his family, and the rag tag bunch of Whispering Pines survivors, private military contractors, laborers, and former (hopefully?) cannibals now must face the vast, exposed space of America’s Heartland in order to get to a possible sanctuary in the post-apocalyptic ruins of Boulder, Colorado.

Just a simple convoy from point A to point B, right? Yeah, right.

Z-Burbia 6: Rocky Mountain Die

With the plains to their backs, Jace Stanford and crew are just steps from their destination: the Stronghold of Boulder, CO.

Outstanding

The narrator is absolutely fabulous. I was completely drawn in to this story and fell in love with these characters. While I wasn't terribly thrilled with the ending, I understood it.

I am very much going to miss Longpork and the Standford family.

If you're looking for a fantastic end of the world zombie book that will leave you laughing out loud, download this series immediately.

funny till the , and I Love zombie stories

the funny of Jase throughout was great, and the story kept track. I do think the ending seemed rushed. wish could have found out what happened to Charly and Stewart . and more about the sisters.

this should be a mini series!!

I love this story! made me laugh out loud more than a few times, and all the references to movies and games are fantastic! would be awesome as film. the characters are real people. If the world ends, I definitely want to be a part of this group!

What a comical yet sorrowful ride

At first I honestly didn’t think much of the story. But the more I listened I found myself invested. At times it felt like the story was missing a step or two but after a bit everything would come together. The ending was heartbreaking but only because after so many hours of active listening the characters become real as in most books. The story is good even if there are a lot of plot holes and loose ends that never get tied up. But I guess that is why they are called loose ends. It is your basic Z book with some comic relief and sprinkle of war, which is a recipe for a good listen. No, the zombie genre was not recreated in this story but it did add a nice spin to it. Hopefully there will be more stories from the Z-burbia universe I can hear.

This was a fantastic series. What great characters, humor and heart. I can not wait to read more from this author

definitely the most enjoyable apocalyptic series I've come across yet and likely the best I will ever enjoy. who said the apocalypse has to be dramatic when it can be humorous. thank you for an entertaining Journey Through The Apocalypse and keep up the good work.

Why did I wait so long to get this???

I kept this series in my wish list for months. I finally bought it and I am so glad I did! If you live the Zombie Fallout series I think you will love this as well!

This has plenty of humor and interesting plots and evil people and zombies galore! And a very satisfying ending. I got a little teary eyes

This was a great series. Now Jake Bible you should make a series for Elsbeth n her bad ass sisters. You know the other books Granny G talks about in the end.

Amazing!

Honestly, at first i didn't quite know what to expect. I mean, 41 hours for one credit? A more humorous take on zombies (Which in my opinion, there aren't too many good examples of, despite the genre being ripe for it) all this plus a bunch of character i'd come to care for, action that doesn't overstay its welcome, zombie apocalypse tropes sometimes lampshaded, and sometimes cut apart like the z's themselves. I cannot recommend this box set enough for you if this all sounds good! I will say however, there seems to be a 7th book, so while im not complaining about the credit usage for this, the title is incorrect, this seemingly isn't the full series.

The narrator does a stellar job at this book, but there are sound variances in a few points and a few characters he doesn't do as well on. Honestly, that's nothing against him though, to say he is the weakest part of the package is not an insult at all! He Did great!

I won't lie, the ending bits of the story were rather sad for me, and i even cried at the end. Not to be a really macho dude, but that's just not something that happens often. I guess the moral of the story here is if you give things a chance when you normally wouldn't you may be very pleasantly surprised!

I'm looking forward to trying out the authors other books, i am very highly impressed with z-burbia the (almost) complete series.
One last note, to be fair to other books that do the same thing, i will very often dock points off the score if they have a free sample of the authors other books inside. In this case, i did not for two main reasons. The first being the already huge run time, for the value i don't begrudge the author doing this. The second, said chapter is clearly marked, where oftentime anything other than the main book itself will be marked as another chapter. So i will not be docking points for this, even though it's a huge pet peeve for me.
