One of my favorite Briar books!

I have enjoyed all 8 of the books about Briar U but this was one of my favorites. I think I really enjoyed it because I felt similar to Taylor for part of my life. I have to say the only downside of this book was the female narrator. She wasn’t bad but she wasn’t my favorite. I felt like her voice would be better suited to someone in their 30s + up!

emotional Rollercoaster!!!

loved this book! I love Teddy Hamilton. I can listen to his voice all night long which is what I did and finished listening in one night! Conor Edwards is such a sweetheart and all man!

I love this book!!!

I relate to this book so much! I am a bigger girl and a teacher and I feel like this book was made specifically for me! I love Conor and Taylor’s love story! I love that they are figuring their life out while being together! So good! Also Teddy Hamilton’s narration and voice is so freaking sexy!!!

Conor has my heart! I adored him so much - the way he always made sure Taylor knew how beautiful he found her, his hilarious show of support for her at the end, and his charming yet shy personality. Taylor was a girl after my own heart - curvy, not altogether confident in her looks, but smart and driven. I loved the way they could joke and make fun of each other while also supporting each other. This one was my favorite Briar U book!

Journey of rediscovery, Briar U all the way

Devoured this book in a day. Taylor and Conor are described as being physically different but I loved how Kennedy explored how insecurities can come in all forms. Loved watching these two lean on each other on a journey of rediscovery. Stick with it...its worth the listen ❤️

A great series

I feel like as I get older college age romances don't always hold my interest but the Briar U series is definitely the exception! It must be a combination of great writing and well developed characters that just make you forget the age of the characters and just get wrapped up in their story (which is how all books should be , in my opinion).
And it doesn't hurt that both of these narrators are incredible :)

Loved everything about it!!!

The narrators were awesome!!! Of course it’s Teddy Hamilton!!! I love how Elle Kennedy can give you very fun and funny moments within deep real struggles we can relate to! I love having the guys perspective as well, they are hilarious and intriguing. This is one of my favorites!!!!

Conor is the absolute best!

They are the cutest together! I absolutely loved how their story started, he’s such a good guy and she’s hilarious and fun. They make the cutest couple. I enjoyed listening to this story so much it was funny and meaningful at the same time. They both grew independently, and as a couple. I love how they both grew a back bone when it came to their insecurities and weaknesses. The narration was good, Teddy Hamilton is always solid. This is my first time hearing Elizabeth Louise’s work, but she’s good and her male voice is decent. Overall, I enjoyed this story and would recommend it. My only complaint is that it could have been spicer ;)

I love Elle Kennedy and the Off-Campus series. When she came out with Briar U, I jumped on board with this new series. She just knocks sports romances out of the park. You can read this as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the previous books as it will give you some insight into several of the other characters.
I am not sure if this is the last one in this series, but I just cannot get enough.

This one was not my favorite though. This is mainly due to Taylor and the constant insecurity around her weight. It is not very clear if she is even overweight as it only mentions her having some curves. I was annoyed with this as it was a little overkill on someone who really does not appear overweight at all. I do like how it hits on insecurities though and how Connor really tries to help her through this.

This does deal with issues/triggers of mental health, acceptance, family, love, body image and more. It had a little bit of everything.

I really wish the Off Campus Series and the Briar U series would be adapted into a TV series. It would be so good. I am obsessed with both series and all of the characters. I am heart broken to know this is the end of the Briar U series!

A slow burn friendship filled with lots of fun and flirtation.

Elle Kennedy writes the perfect quick read that is fantastic for getting me out of a slump. This was easily my least favorite in the series, but I still adored being back at Briar and the brief glimpses we got of some of my other favorite characters. This was exactly what I needed in this moment and I honestly can't wait to dive into more of her books!
