Better than the last

If you mixed Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal skull with Mormons who are like the illuminati and Mormon illuminati-ish that are also Nazis, you’ll have a basic gist of what this is like. Very basic. There’s so much to it that grips you and makes it hard to let go.
The only downside are the few small and short skips in the audio. They are inconsequential.

Not as good as the others

Three (3) adventure books for the price of one … what a bargain; except the second to really don’t hold up as well. As expected, the books follow the same formula as the previous Dane Maddock books, but it seems like the author is trying to do too much in the last two … there are just too many myths, legends and conspiracies stirred into the mix until it all just becomes too silly. Icefall was by far my favorite of the group and it managed to save the three star rating for the set as a whole (the bonus story was just ok and very short … so no review). After that, we get more relationship drama and high school hijinx that really got tiresome toward the end and was not as entertaining as it was at first. Buccaneer had an interesting take on the money pit and is really a high 2. Atlantis was on the low side of 2 with the level of comic book buffoonery and stretched believability detracting from the over all enjoyment. Frankly this was the first quasi dud I have encountered with the author, so I hope he gets his mojo back with the next few that I have in the queue …

Icefall [***]
Buccaneer [**]
Atlantis [**]

Four Action-Packed Books in One Place!

These 4 stories were excellent, and the narration was top-notch. The adventures were so entertaining and kept me wanting more. I love these characters and it was great having 4 stories in one audiobook. I plan on checking out the other volumes!

Love the books, Loads of Fun but......

The books are fun and entertaining to listen to (Thank you Jeffrey Kafer)
but there are two things I have issues with
1. the books are to short for me (LOVE that you can buy the books in volumes), as many books
as I listen to in such a short period of time Volumes is the best bang for the buck for me.
2. Now this is the biggest problem I have with these books. BIG BAD Navy Seal Dane Maddock
can not say no to women and they end up telling him how things are going to happen and what
they are going to do not what he says. I don't mind the relationship stuff or strong women in the
book but for him to never stand his ground drives me crazy.
I do love the books and they are a lot of fun to listen to. Bones and the rest of the crew are a blast
and the narration by Jeffrey Kafer is very entertaining as well. Waiting for the next group of books
to be but into the next Volume so I can keep listening, DANE MADDDOCK Adventures volume 3 ?
HECK, Maybe Dane might grow some balls in the next one.

it's what you signed up for.

cheesy dialogue abounds, as does politically incorrect humor, high stakes adventure, beautiful women and dashing heroes.

if you are looking for junk food entertainment, look no further than one of my favorite guilty pleasures.

Loved

I love the narration of Jeffrey Kafer

Oh I do like a listen with an archaeological mystery , adventure , a pit of the occult, and bit of science fiction, Ohh yes great villains, who you know we get their rightly comeuppance The characters are fun, the plots are good with a continuing focus on an evil organization bent on world domination. Loved the humour
