This was another winner. It would make an Excellenct screenplay/film version with all the vivid descriptions of the auras and energy fields. I would even sign on to see a full series of these stories after reading more in this vein. Kudo Joy! It is no wonder you became a successful crime writer after this beginning. I hope you will consider making more like this as well.

I really have enjoyed this series. I did like the first book more than the second, but truly enjoyed them both Want more!

A little predictable but exciting

Love this and the first book. A little eerie story and great character builds. Love Joy Ellis and thinks these were good additions to her library. Would recommend.

Joy Ellis is a wonderful story teller, with likable characters and creative plots, laced with lovely, comforting settings that draw the listener in.

riveting story

The story line kept me hooked. The narration was marvelous. I don't usually give reviews, but this book was worth mentioning. I'm only sad that there is not a 3rd book. keep writing Joy Ellis. love your work.

Brilliant mystery!

Master storyteller!
Although book 2 is not as good as book 1, it is still brilliant.
I would have loved more books in this mystery, whimsical, paranormal story.

I sincerely am keeping my fingers crossed that this is not the last we have heard from Ellie! I love these characters and the storyline.

Entertaining and interesting

Joy Ellis is a great story teller. She describes this novel and its precedent novel are her “novice entry” as a writer. Novice or not, both books were quite interesting and enjoyable. I’m not a literary critic, I just enjoy a good story.

Almost there...

This book is detail-heavy and got weighed down alot. Having said that, I still loved the premise and look forward to the next installment. The narration is terrific.

I really like this series and look forward to book 3, riveting, hard to put down.
